On June 20, 2012 the Head of the Educational and Cultural Committee of the International Council of Museums (ICOM/CECA) Mrs. Emma Nardi, with her husband, accompanied by the Director of the ICOM National Committee of Armenia Mrs. Ani Avagyan visited the Cafesjian Center for the Arts (CCA).

On May 26, 2012 Mr. Nasser Kazeminy, the chairman of the National Ethnic Coalition of Organizations (NECO) and his headed delegation visited the Cafesjian Center for the Arts.

Another new artwork is presented on the Sasuntsi Davit Terrace of the Cafesjian Center for the Arts,  Polished Chrome Plated Air to Air Missile.

A new sculpture, Cafesjian Crystal Tower, is now on exhibit in the Escalator Gallery of the Cafesjian Center for the Arts. It is a unique artwork, executed by staff of the Cafesjian Center for the Arts, from a concept proposed by Gerard L. Cafesjian.

A new sculpture is presented on the Sasuntsi Davit Terrace of the Cafesjian Center for the Arts (CCA) - Lion 2, (2008), by Korean artist Ji Yong-Ho. This work expands the impressive selection of monumental sculptures installed in the Cafesjian Sculpture Garden and the Cafesjian Center for the Arts, already listing such major names in contemporary art as Fernando Botero, Jaume Plensa, Barry Flanagan, Lynn Chadwick and David Breuer-Weil.

ArmenTel Company (Beeline trademark) became the first corporate member of the Cafesjian Center for the Arts. During the award ceremony on February 25 the Acting Executive Director of the Center Vahagn Marabyan granted to ArmenTel CEO Igor Klimko a certificate of Benefactor level of corporate membership in acknowledgment for the company’s support of CCA’s educational and children’s programs over 2011.

On December 26, 2011, during a ceremony hosted by Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan, the Cafesjian Center for the Arts received a Certificate of Gratitude from the Yerevan Municipality. The CCA was recognized for "efficient operations and creative success."

A new kinetic sculpture has been added to In the Mind of the Collector exhibition at the Cafesjian Center for the Arts - Electric Advertising Automaton of a Baton-Twirling Girl, produced by the American company, Mechanical Man Inc.

Two new bronze sculptures are presented on the open-air Khanjyan terrace of the Cafesjian Center for the Arts (CCA) - The Visitor, 2011, by British artist David Breuer-Weil, especially commissioned by Gerard L. Cafesjian for installation at the Cafesjian Center for the Arts, and Carpe (Très Grande), created in 2000 by French artist François-Xavier Lalanne.
