ENCOUNTERS WITH ART: Naira Muradyan

Naira Muradyan was born in 1961 in Yerevan to a family of painters. After graduating from the Terlemezian Fine Arts College in 1980, she worked at Hayfilm Studio Animation department. In 2004 her film, titled The Road, was awarded a prize at Golden Apricot Festival. The Three Poets was presented at the Ansi International Animation Festival (France), and the Old Gods became a participant in the Krok International Animation Festival. The Little Soldier film was awarded a prize as the best experimental film in Animavovka Festival in Belarus.
