In 2026, the Museum Night event was celebrated on May 16.
The theme of International Museum Day 2025 was “Museums Uniting a Divided World”.
The Cafesjian Center for the Arts curated a diverse array of comprehensive programs for this special occasion:
Linocut Workshop based on the “QARPET” exhibition,
Encounter and workshop with Narek Avetisyan based on the “Criterion” exhibition,
Curatorial tours of the exhibitions,
Opening of the “QARPET” exhibition,
Concert։ Shahen Khandkaryan and Norayr Kartashyan.

Taking into account the political processes with regard to the National Assembly elections, including the upcoming pre-election campaign and rallies (marches), the Museum asks all parties to refrain from conducting political actions at the premises of the Cafesjian Center for the Arts, including at the Cascade Complex and Tamanyan Park.

On September 12th, Mrs. Kathleen Cafesjian Baradaran, President of the Cafesjian Family Foundation and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Cafesjian Museum Foundation (CMF), with her husband, Mr. Jaff Baradaran, visited the Armenian National Pavilion at the 60th International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia. They were introduced to Echo, an immersive multi-media project by Paris-based artist Nina Khemchyan.
