The "Norayr Kartashyan and Menua" band was founded in 2015 with the aim of presenting the traditions of Armenian instrumental music with a professional interpretation. The band specializes in performing Armenian folklore compositions prepared by Norayr Kartashyan, as well as his original compositions. "Menua" represents the five families of Armenian brass instruments: duduk, blul, shvi, parkapzuk, and zurna.
