Armenian pavilion in “Shanghai Expo 2010”

Expo 2010, officially Expo 2010 Shanghai China, was held in the city of Shanghai, China, from May 1 to October 31, 2010. It was a major World Expo in the tradition of international fairs and expositions, the first since 1992. The theme of the exposition was "Better City - Better Life", and Armenia came up with the innovative idea of "City of the World", presenting it in a state-of-art pavillion. The Armenian pavillion was enormous success, and on June 6 2010 the organizing commitee made a presentation of the pavillion at the Cafesjian Center for the Arts. The event was organized under the patrongae of the RA Governement and was attened by the RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan. The event presented photo and video materials from the Shanghai pavillion. On the open-air patio the interactive technologies used were presented.
