ENCOUNTERS WITH ART: CCA Educational Programs 2009-2018: Overview

The upcoming event of the “Encounters with Art” program will start at Sasuntsi Davit Garden Gallery of the Cafesjian Center for the Arts (CCA) at 6:30 PM on June 21. The visitors will first view the exhibition, “CCA Educational Programs 2009-2018: Overview,” which features a selection of works authored by the participants of the Center’s educational projects. After the exhibition viewing, a lecture will be delivered by the Center’s Director of Education Yelizaveta Shirinyan at the Special Events Auditorium. The presenter will touch upon numerous educational projects implemented by CCA during its 10-year operation.  
The Center has always put a special emphasis on museum education, implementing 50 educational programs and initiatives for different age groups, and involving students of Yerevan and regional schools. The total number of participants of the educational programs exceeds 42,000. 

In 2017, Cafesjian Teen Council was established at the CCA. Due to the exhibitions and projects initiated by the Council, the Center has become a favorite venue for many teenagers.
