The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Republic of Armenia has acknowledged the Cafesjian Center for the Arts (CCA) with a Certificate of Gratitude with regard to its programming for the European Heritage Days on September 28-29.

“The Cafesjian Teen Council members always initiate and implement interesting and creative projects. Teen Artists Platform is a great opportunity for teenagers to communicate, uncover new talents, network, create new joint projects, and of course become members of the Cafesjian Teen Council,” stated Vahagn Marabyan, Acting Executive Director of the Cafesjian Center for the Arts.

On May 17, towards the International Museum Day, the RA Ministry of Culture presented a nice surprise to the Cafesjian Center for the Arts on the occasion of the Center’s 10th Anniversary.  Mrs. Kathleen Cafesjian-Baradaran, President of the Cafesjian Family Foundation, was awarded with Gold Medal of the Ministry of Culture for Significant Contribution in the Museum Field of Armenia.

On October 12, Mrs. Anna Hakobyan, the spouse of the Prime Minister of RA, Mrs. Brigitte Macron, the spouse of the President of France, and the spouses of the leaders of the member countries of the International Organization of the Francophonie visited the Cafesjian Center for the Arts.

On December 20, 2016, “The Landscape of My Country” educational program was recognized as the “Best Educational Program of the Year” by the Museum Education Center.

The Cafesjian Center for the Arts (CCA) announces the opening of the relief Sasuntsi Davit by sculptor Artashes Hovsepyan, which is an integral part of the architectural heritage of the Cascade complex. Visitors of the Center will have the opportunity to see the sculpture for the first time on May 21, 2016 as part of the Museum Night annual event.

On October 27, the participants of the annual conference of the International Committee for Marketing and Public Relations (MPR) of the International Council of Museums (ICOM) visited the Cafesjian Center for the Arts, where the conference’s closing evening took place.

In the scope of cooperation between Beeline and CCA, the newly opened Interactive Study Center of CCA has been equipped with modern digital technologies making collections and databases of the world’s major museums and art institutions accessible for visitors.
