The Cafesjian Teen Council Presents: STEREOTYPES exhibition and discussion

May 18, 2024
Stereotypes – another engaging project by the Cafesjian Teen Council.

Stereotypes encapsulate rigid perceptions, notions about phenomena that are very difficult to change. They operate similarly to social labels, frequently disregarding uniqueness. In our daily lives, we often encounter various stereotypes, which can impede decision-making, yet sometimes they can be useful.
Through the unique language of art, members of the Cafesjian Teen Council raise questions concerning stereotypes.

The objective of the project is to provide a platform for teenagers to articulate their perspectives on stereotypes through diverse artistic mediums.
As part of the Stereotypes exhibition, the Cafesjian Teen Council will host a meeting-discussion, fostering a dialogue on issues relevant to teenagers.

This initiative not only encourages critical thinking among teens, but also cultivates an environment for open discourse, stimulating the interest of other teenagers in the activities of the Center.
