Spring Lecture Series: KOMITAS 150. Artur Avanesov, The Aspects of Komitas: Letters. Lecture 2

The Spring Lecture Series of the Cafesjian Center for the Arts took place on April 18 and 25 at the Special Events Auditorium.

This year, the title of the Series is "KOMITAS 150," as 2019 marks the 150th Anniversary of great Komitas. UNESCO included his anniversary in the 2018-2019 Calendar of Famous People and Important Events.

The second lecture was delivered by composer, musicologist, and pianist Artur Avanesov on April 25, 2019, titled "The Aspects of Komitas: Letters."

Admission and Hours

Cafesjian Sculpture Garden: always open.
Escalator Gallery: everyday, 8:00-20:00.
Exhibition Galleries, Museum Store and Visitor Center: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 10:00-20:00.
The Center is closed on state holidays.

From April 1 until October 31, CCA Museum Store, besides Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, will also be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from 10:00am till 6:00pm.
